Condolence: Dear Norma and family, We are saddened to hear of Mac's passing. I know that without Mac's (and Norma's) dedication the Bennington Historical Society and Museum would be a shadow of what it is. He was ever faithful to our small hamlet/town and eager to share his memories with all. He always had some project in his back pocket, full of ideas and the actions to make them reality. The signs around Bennington memorializing our six covered bridges are also monuments to Mac (and you all.) I also remember Mac as the colorfully dressed barker for the Historical Society's strawberry social, doing his best to make it a success.
